Tomorrow – Parent and Child Outing

A gentle reminder that tomorrow we have the parent and child outing.

A few important points.

  • Children have to wear their summer uniform and usual school shoes.
  • You can apply some sun block from home since we will be going to the adventure park before we go to the pool.
  • Children have to wear their swim suit beneath their uniform.
  • They have to get a towel and beach sandals/flip flops in a small bag, as well as clean underwear and items for the shower like shower gel and shampoo.
  • They have to have deflated arm bands in their bag too just in case the instructor asks for them. Those parents however who are not accompanying their children have to inflate the arm bands from home.
  • If by any chance your child has a swimming cap please do send it over. However this was not requested as a compulsory item in the pool item list.
  • Please send over the usual school bag. We will leave this at school.  If we have enough time I might give them some more books.
  • I suggest you send a small snack just in case they get hungry after the pool session. We are supposed to have some time to eat in case before we head home at the end of the school day.

Dentist Demajo and Gym Stars Outing

Dentist Demajo Outing/Gym Stars Update and other outings

Dear parents/guardians

A gentle reminder that tomorrow Tuesday 14th June we are going to the Demajo dental clinic and the gym stars outing.  Please send a packed lunch along with plenty of water for the children to drink.

Please do not send messy food or things which can spill easily.  Please label everything and send the items in a small bag.

There were three people who forgot to send the consent form to indicate if they want their children to have a dental check-up or not.  Please do send in the form by tomorrow morning.  If you cannot print the form just write your consent or indicate otherwise on a piece of paper.

Other events

Graduation – Our graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday 21st of June at 11 am.  Please be seated in our multi-purpose hall by 10.50 am for the venue.

It will take about 1 hr and a half and children can be taken home if you wish to do so after the event finishes.

The Parents’ and Child Outing – The parents and child outing to the pool will be held on Wednesday 22nd of June.

Dentist and Gym Stars Outing

Dear parents/guardians,

A gentle reminder that on Tuesday 14th June we have the dentist and gym outing.

All those who did not send the money and intend to send their children please fill in the form I blogged earlier this week or the same form previously sent by Ms. Karen by tomorrow.

You can also write your consent on a piece of paper indicating if you allow your child to have a dental check-up or not.

Pirates and Fairies Outing – Tomorrow 26th May

A gentle reminder that tomorrow we have the outing, Pirates and Fairies.

Please send the children in their costume and comfortable shoes.  Those who do not have a costume will be provided one from school for the event.

No toy weapons such as swords or other shape objects are allowed such as wands or tiaras.

No make-up is allowed.

Please send two bottles of water with your child as well as the usual lunch.  These should be put in a small labelled bag, along with a small towel for them to sit on.

Please send the school cap also.

You can put everything in their usual school bag as I might send over some completed workbooks or in case of bad weather the outing will be postponed.

Apply sunblock from home.

Thursday’s Outing – Pirates and Fairies

  • A gentle reminder that tomorrow is the last day to send in the money for Thursday’s outing.
  • You have to send in the consent form as well. Just in case you are unable to print the form you can send in your consent, written on a piece of paper.
  • If you do not have a pirate or fairy costume, don’t worry we have some at school we can lend the children.
  • The children CANNOT PUT ON MAKE-UP on Thursday.
  • NO weapons, swords or tiaras are allowed on the day. This is to avoid any accidents or items being lost.

Outing – Few Points

Some points regarding tomorrow’s outing:

It is important that the children will be in class by 8am since we are leaving early. We need to get organized and send the children to the toilet beforehand.

Those children who arrive at school on time will be able to have a light breakfast before we go, so please do send in some breakfast in a small bag.

If you think that your children will not eat the pizza that they make you can send in their usual lunch.

It is important that each child will have his/her own bottle with the usual water.

Please make sure that all the items in bag including the bag itself are labelled to avoid any confusion.

Outing – Pizza Time

Next Thursday 25th February is a special day for the children because they have an outing.

Last Thursday you should have received an email with the details about this event. We will be having a pizza cooking session at Pepe Nero at the Valletta Waterfront along with a visit to San Anton gardens.

We will look at patterns in flowers and foliage as well as roam around and explore the surroundings.

The deadline for sending in the fee and form is Monday 22nd February. In an effort to reduce paper usage for environmental purposes the school will not be sending out printed letters relating to this outing.

If you do not wish to print out the consent form, you may just copy out the wording on a piece of paper and send it in with the money.
